The investigation into Daphne Caruana Galizia’s assassination has been going through a huge climax throughout the past few days.

Yet this is not just about the brutal murder of a journalist, who was a rather huge critic of many people. This is also about the Government and the corrupt clique running it.

Thankfully, people such as Keith Schembri, Konrad Mizzi and Chris Cardona, have resigned/suspended themselves from their posts as Chief of Staff and Ministers, respectively. It looks like the Prime Minister is up next.

This is not a battle between the Labour Party and the Nationalist Party. It is not a battle between Joseph Muscat and Adrian Delia.

This is Malta versus corruption. This is our future versus greed. This is our reputation versus their bulging wallets.

Those who are angry are not all Nationalists. Those who are angry are not in desperate need of power.

This is a huge political crisis. Political, not partisan.

Those who are angry are angry because they have had enough of this Government’s lies, enough of its scandals and enough of its bullshit.

We have had enough. Six years of this Government and two years of anger are enough. These revelations are way overdue.

I am tired of the red and blue. I am sick of the greed and abuse of power. I am fed up with some people’s naivety.

It is time for justice. It is time to rehabilitate our country’s reputation.

Rant over.
